Meningitis B vaccine

Meningitis B vaccine for children who fall outside the current NHS cohort.

GP practices are unable to offer Meningitis B vaccine to children who do not meet the NHS criteria and unfortunately the only advice we can offer is that parents try to access the vaccine through a private clinic.  However, parents should be warned that private clinics are struggling to get hold of the vaccine due to the level of demand. We are unable to recommend any particular private clinics to parents.

Please note that there is no problem with access to the vaccine for children who meet the NHS criteria for Meningitis B vaccination.
